The easiest way is to fly from Manchester Airport to Oslo Torp airport. The only airline to do this route is Ryanair - base flights for Thursday 13th May 2027 are currently sitting at £39.99 and the same to return on Saturday. Luggage is additional cost, but if you're coming for only a couple of days then hand luggage would suffice.

Torp is about 50 minutes from Skien to drive. More details will come in the future, but we will arrange pickup from Torp airport for those arriving on Thursday 13th and returning on Saturday 15th. If you wish to make other arrangements, please let us know and we will try to help best we can. There are other transport methods available from the airport which can be discussed (train, bus, taxi).

Our ceremony venue, Brekkeparken, is central in Skien. The hotels listed on our "Hotels" page aren't a far walk, but taxis are also an option: it would only be a few minutes drive.

The wedding reception will be held at Gjermund's family's farm in Siljan - a town just outside Skien. After the ceremony, transport will be available again for those without cars to get you from Brekkeparken to the farm. It takes around 20 minutes to drive.

We understand not everyone would like to go back to their hotels at the same time, so taxi numbers will be provided at the reception.
